Saint-Gobain Performance
Plastics antenna shelters provide unique enclosures for microwave antennas.
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics antenna shelters are
designed to provide protection and concealment for antennas and the associated equipment
where a conventional spherical radome is not appropriate. Featuring a normal structure
appearance with flat walls and hip or gable roofs, they utilize modular pretensioned
RAYDEL® panels. |
 |
 |
The modular shelter design utilizes pretensioned RAYDEL®
panels, with each panel having a structural frame. These frames are then bolted together
to form the shelter. The pretension stabilizes the thin RAYDEL® membrane,
preventing rippling.
The framed shelter designs incorporate an open structural skeleton or framework.
Lightweight, pretensioned RAYDEL®panels then attach to that frame. Typically a
framed shelter is designed to specific architectural site requirements, although the
panels themselves are basically similar.
